Residual NiO phase is generally detected in 0.9(KNbO3)–0.1(BaNi1/2Nb1/2O3-δ) (KBNNO) synthesized using NiO as a nickel precursor by solid-state reaction. In this work, NiO phase is found to exist in the form of the residual NiO particles with a size of 100-200 nm using energy dispersive X-ray elemental mapping. These NiO residual particles are eliminated by using nickel acetate as a nickel precursor and a 100% perovskite phase KBNNO is successfully synthesized at as low as 600°C temperature. Furthermore, using the two-step sintering technique, 100% relative density is achieved in this material. The nickel acetate–based KBNNO shows a robust ferromagnetism with the saturation magnetization of 11.42 memu/g and the remanent magnetization of 3.89 memu/g which is 38 times higher than that of previously reported value in NiO-based KBNNO. Thus, a highly pure and fully dense KBNNO ceramic with superior magnetic properties is obtained using nickel acetate and by the two-step sintering method. This is a key step forward in the processing of KBNNO and is likely to have a significant impact on other physical properties of this newly invented and promising photovoltaic perovskite material.  相似文献

This paper presents the tensile response of thin-walled composite tubes with multi-axial fibre architecture. A hybrid braid-wound layup has the potential to optimise the composite tube properties, however, stacking sequence plays a role in the failure mechanism. A braid-winding method has been used to produce stacked overwound braid layup [(±45°/0°)5/90°4]T. Influence of stacking sequence on premature failure of hoop layers has been reported. Under tensile loading, a cross-ply composite tube with the alternate stacking of hoop and axial fibre show hoop plies splitting similar to the overwound braided composite tube. However, splitting has been restricted by the surrounding axial plies and contained between the adjacent axial fibre tows. This observation suggests hoop layers sandwiched between braid layers will improve structural integrity. A near net shape architecture with three fibre orientation in a triaxial braid will provide additional support to prevent extensive damage for plies loaded in off-axis. Several notable observations for relatively open braid structures such as tow scissoring, high Poisson’s ratio and influence of axial tow crimp on the strain to failure have been reported. Digital Image Correlation (DIC) in conjunction with surface strain gauging has been employed to capture the strain pattern.  相似文献

In the present work, two types of shear thickening fluids have been synthesized by using neat and aminosilane functionalized silica nanoparticles and their viscosity curves have been obtained by the rheometer. Based on the values of peak viscosity of synthesized shear thickening fluids, the surface functionalized nanosilica based shear thickening fluid has been chosen as a best candidate due to the high viscosity for impregnation into the neat Kevlar of different layers viz. four (04) and eight (08) layers for velocity impact study. The experimental investigations reveal high energy absorption of shear thickening fluid impregnated Kevlar as compared to the neat Kevlar. The maximum energy absorption 62 J is achieved corresponding to the initial velocity 154 m∙s−1 for 08 layers shear thickening fluid impregnated Kevlar specimen. The data have also been analytically determined and validated with the experimental data. The experimental data have good agreement with the analytical data within the accuracy of around 15 to 20%. The present findings can have significant inferences towards the fabrication of shear thickening fluids using nanomaterials for numerous applications such as soft armors, dampers, nanofinishing and so forth.  相似文献

Image registration, accuracy, processing time and occlusions are the main limitations of augmented reality (AR) based jaw surgery. Therefore, the main aim of this paper is to reduce the registration error, which will help in improving the accuracy and reducing the processing time. Also, it aims to remove outliers and remove the registration outcomes trapped in local minima to improve the alignment problems and remove the occlusion caused by surgery instrument. The enhanced Iterative Closest Point (ICP) algorithm with rotation invariant and correntropy was used for the proposed system. Markerless image registration technique was used for AR-based jaw surgery. The problem of occlusion caused by surgical tools and blood is solved by using stereo based tracing with occlusion handling techniques. This research reduced alignment error 0.59 mm?~?0.62 mm against 0.69?~?0.72 mm of state-of-the-art solution. The processing time of video frames was enhanced to 11.9?~?12.8 fps against 8?~?9.15 fps in state-of-the-art solution. This paper is focused on providing fast and accurate AR-based system for jaw surgery. The proposed system helps in improving the AR visualization during jaw surgery. The combination of methods and technology helped in improving AR visualization for jaw surgery and to overcome the failure caused by a large rotation angle and provides an initial parameter for better image registration. It also enhances performance by removing outliers and noises. The pose refinement stage provides a better result in terms of processing time and accuracy.
